Introduction to California

While waiting for Upper Cherry to come in Nick Abrams and myself headed down to the Kaweah drainage hoping to find some classic California class V kayaking. We got it. A manageable flow and park rangers that turned the blind eye made our decent of the Hospital Rock section of the Kaweah a really great time. Slides, drops and boulder gardens were on the menu and we took all that we could...

The Kaweah is an awesome run that is worth the drive down there. From here I am planning to get on to Cherry Proper and then Upper Cherry.
